Réme, just after being rescued! What a difference a few months makes!Remarkable Réme!Enjoying the sun, looking so healthy and relaxed!Peek-a-Boo...beautiful you!Awwwww....so sweet!

Shook's Beauty:

Shook says, "We went for a walk at the creek in the neighborhood last July and found an abandoned kitten. We decided to take it home with us. Our initial plan was to rescue it and send it to the Humane Society. After an uneventful day staying in our guest bathroom, we quickly fell in love with him and we decided that we want to keep him instead. When we found him, he was nearly starved to death. He is now a happy 18-month old indoor cat."

Oh my goodness, you saved his life....you're his hero! What a story, and what a lucky kitty that you found him that day. It doesn't take long for those furbabies to get ahold of our hearts, does it, and we know you're so happy you made the decision to keep Réme. He sure has improved from that 1st photo (see above) when you found him....it just goes to show how much he's cared for and loved. We applaud you for saving his life, that is just so wonderful what you did! He's so gorgeous!

Shook purchased a Red Dingo Cat ID Tag for her handsome Réme.

Terrific Tora!Magnificent Mooky!NAP TIME!Heavenly Hayleigh!

Lise's Beauties:

Meet Tora, Mooky and Hayleigh. Mooky is 13-years-old, and Lise says, "when I was attending graduate school in Oklahoma, I found him, apparently abandoned, under our counseling clinic. He is a beautiful cat indeed! Tora is seven; I adopted her from our local Humane Society last December. Apparently, her previous owners divorced and that was that. I lucked out; she is a sweetheart. I am attaching yet another photo, of Hayleigh. She is our newest addition. She was hit by a car on the highway and someone took her to our vet, no ID tags, nothing. They had to amputate one of her legs. She was looking for a home for over a month and every time I took my dog in (for acupuncture!) I saw her, not believing no one had adopted her. Needless to say, she is ours, or we are hers, now. I thought I would have to make all these adaptations for her to have access to windows, etc., but it was wasted. She is agile and can do anything my other cats do and usually faster!"

Such stunning kitties!! Just look at that line right down the middle of Hayleigh's face/nose, separating the dark/light fur, really unusual, pretty markings! Such pretty eyes too! Bless your heart for rescuing Mooky, Hayleigh and Tora, that is just awesome...so sad Tora was "divorced" too, from her owners....it's so upsetting when people toss animals away like they mean nothing....grrrrrr....but thank goodness her story has a happy ending! And Mooky is so lucky to have been right where you could find him! We love hearing animal rescue stories! We know they're all better off now, in a safe and loving home with people who REALLY care! Poor Hayleigh, that's so awful what happened to her....but she is one lucky cat that your paths crossed (it was meant to be) and that you opened your heart and home to her. She sounds like quite the amazing cat, doing all she does with only (3) legs....she's definitely special! Animals are so incredibly resilient, even more so sometimes than a lot of humans! And you have a dog too, my but you have a full house :-) Thank you so much for allowing us to add Tora's, Mooky's and Hayleigh's photos, they're all absolutely GORGEOUS! Love all their names!

Lise purchased Red Dingo Cat ID Tags for her beauties.
