These vibrant red decals are to be placed on the OUTSIDE of a window or door...or main electrical box....to alert Emergency Responders to rescue your pet(s) in case of a fire, flood, earthquake or other emergency situation. If possible, firefighters will go to your home's main electrical box to cut the power, so that would be an ideal spot to place a decal. This vibrant decal will help increase your pet's chances of survival. Think of the peace of mind knowing the decals are in place....they can mean the split second difference between life and death.

Decals are *REMOVABLE and made from high-performance vinyl, being fade-resistant and weatherproof (laminated), and won't crack, chip or peel. Decals have a 2-3 year outdoor durability rating, longer if not in direct sunlight or subject to extreme weather - this saves you money by not having to repeatedly purchase static cling decals that will sometimes quickly fade, or curl up and fall to the ground after a short time, left unseen by emergency responders.

*NOTE: Even removable decals can become semi-permanent over time, but will not be as difficult to remove as permanent adhesive decals. Removal instructions included, should you need them.

Instructions:

Place decal on the OUTSIDE of a highly visible area, such as your front door, back door, window next to an entrance, or home's main electrical box (if possible, firefighters will go to your home's main electrical box to cut the power). Ideally, decals should be applied when temperature is above 40 degrees F. In winter, use a hair dryer to warm up the surface before applying. Clean area thoroughly before applying (clean window with Windex, or similar glass cleaner; clean door with damp cloth). Dry with clean, lint-free towel or cloth (surface must be completely dry before applying decal). Simply peel, remove decal, and apply. Write the number of pets needing to be rescued in appropriate boxes (hint: if possible, invest in a permanent marker that is fade-resistant/waterproof). If you aren't able to use a permanent marker, please check the writing periodically for fading.
